Staff of the Month
The staff at the boys and girls club are all very special to us. Each month we are going to pick out a staff member for everyone to get to know better. We love each and every staff and we want to share them with our community.
Meet Braxton Chumley
FW: How old are you?
BC: I am 20 years old.
FW: Do you have pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?
BC: I have a dog, his name is Cato and he is a Maltese
FW: What is your favorite color?
FW: What are your future plans?
BC: Well I plan on graduating this December and applying for UAMS for radiology school.
FW: Did you go to the club?
BC: Yes I did!
FW: Did you grow up in Benton? If not, where?
BC: Yes I did!
FW: What is your favorite part about working at the Boys and Girls Club?
BC: My favorite part about working here would getting to help the kids and watching them grow up. I have been working here for 5 years and I have gotten to see a lot of the kids grow and mature and that is a really exciting thing to experience.
FW: What college are you attending or what college do you plan on attending and why?
BC: I started out at the University of Arkansas at Monticello for basketball. I played there for 2 years and then moved back home. I am now attending Pulaski Tech where I will graduate in December!
FW: What is at the top of your bucket list?
BC: My goal is to travel to every state and experince something new! So far I have been to 15/50.
FW: What is your job at the Boys and Girls Club?
BC: My job here is working in the learning center on the teen side. I help with homework and run different programs like SmartMoves and MyFuture and Stride.
